Long Term Disability
Mutual of Omaha LTD Benefit Summary
The City provides long-term disability to all benefit eligible employees. The benefit is 60% of your monthly wage to a max of $9,000 per month. The elimination period is 90 days.

Short Term Disability
Mutual of Omaha STD Benefit Summary
The city provides short-term disability benefits to all employees who participate in personal leave. For new employees, coverage becomes effective the first of the month following successful completion of the probationary period.
The disability qualifying period is two weeks and the benefit is 80% regular weekly wage for six weeks and 60% for an additional five weeks. (Employees who participate in sick leave are not eligible for short-term disability.)
