Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (Healthcare FSA)
At the Wildlife Conservation Society, all employees can enroll in a Healthcare FSA, regardless of their enrollment in the WCS medical plan (Aetna). Healthcare FSAs cover qualified healthcare services and medical expenses. The 2025 contribution limit is $3,300.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA)
All employees who have an eligible, tax-dependent child(ren), parent, or grandparent, can enroll in a DCFSA. Eligible expenses include:
- Nursery, pre-school, or before/after school care for dependents up to age 13
- Elder day care for spouses, parents, and grandparents unable to take care of him/herself.
The contribution limit for 2025 is $5,000 ($2,500 if marred and filing separate tax returns).
WCS will allow employees to contribute up to the IRS maximum.
