Teladoc® gives you access to a national network of U.S. board-certified doctors who are available 24/7/365 to treat many of your medical issues, via phone or online video consults from wherever you happen to be. Feeling under the weather? Teladoc is just a click or call away!
 
Eligibility
Teladoc is available to all Bryten employees and dependents up to age 26.  Teladoc is available regardless of benefit status and is effective the first of the month following date of hire. Save time and worry by getting the medical care you need when you need it.
There is no cost at the time of service to utilize Teladoc (excluding any prescription costs).
How does Teladoc work?
Step 1—Contact Teladoc
Simply log in to your account or call 1-800-Teladoc to request a phone or online video consult with a Teladoc doctor. The average doctor call back time is 16 minutes.
Step 2—Talk with a Doctor
A U.S. board-certified doctor or pediatrician licensed in your state reviews your Electronic Health Record (EHR), then contacts you, listens to your concerns and asks questions. It’s just like an in-person consultation.
Step 3—Resolve your issue
The doctor recommends the right treatment for your medical issue. If a prescription is necessary, it’s sent to the pharmacy of your choice. If a physician calls in a prescription, you will be responsible for any cost associated with the Rx.  
Step 4—Follow Up
At the end of every call, the doctor will ask if they have answered all your questions, and Teladoc will follow up to make sure you’re delighted with the service. With your permission, Teladoc can even send a record of your encounter to your current doctor.
