• The 2023 Wellness Financial Incentive Program is a two-step program designed to help employees who select a Hanover health insurance plan offset the cost of coverage.
• By participating in this confidential and valuable health improvement program, employees have the opportunity to earn up to $300 per year ($150 per step) for employee only participation or up to $600 per year ($300 per step) for employee plus spouse* participation.
• The 2023 Wellness Financial Incentive Program is available at https://www.aetna.com.  Please see our Resources sheet for more details on how to participate.

• If your Hanover health insurance plan was effective on or before June 1, 2023
  • Complete both Step 1 and Step 2 by December 31, 2023
  • While biometric screenings will no longer be available at the Good Health Clinic, they can be obtained from your healthcare provider by asking them to complete a Wellness Screening Form then submitting it using the instructions in the top right corner of the form
• If your Hanover health insurance plan newly became effective on or after June 2, 2023
  • Complete Step 1 only by December 31, 2023
  • Biometric screenings may be obtained for free at the Good Health Clinic by contacting Jami Zanetta at jlzanetta@hanovercounty.gov, or they may be obtained from your healthcare provider by asking them to complete a Wellness Screening Form then submitting it using the instructions in the top right corner of the form

• All benefit-eligible employees are eligible to create an account regardless of whether or not they select a Hanover health insurance plan.
• Spouses covered by a Hanover health insurance plan are eligible to create an account as well.

Hanover County is proud to partner with Bon Secours to offer the Good Health Clinic specifically for employees of Hanover County and Bon Secours, as well as their spouses and dependent children.

All employees, their spouses, and dependent children are eligible to utilize the Good Health Clinic regardless of whether or not they select a Hanover health insurance plan.  

Employees and family members who ARE covered by a Hanover health insurance plan can be seen with no copay ($0), although there may be out-of-pocket costs associated with certain services such as labwork, xrays, etc.  Please contact Jami Zanetta, Wellness Coordinator, at jlzanetta@hanovercounty.gov if a bill is received.

Employees and family members who ARE NOT covered by a Hanover health insurance plan will pay a copay based on what their health insurance plan charges.  They are encouraged to ensure that the clinic location is in-network with their health insurance plan prior to visiting to avoid out-of-network charges.
