To register for Experian's ID protection program made available by BCBS, members' will need to login into BAM (Blue Access for Members) and follow the quick links on the site. Each member over age 18 will be required to enroll in the program to receive its offering; however, adults can enroll their minor dependents. Below are the steps required.

Adults & Minors Member Steps:

  1. You must enroll online. Use your computer to log into your BAM account to get your activation code. NOTE: Obtaining an activation code is not available on BAM Mobile.
  2. Select Identity Protection in the Quick Links
  3. Upon first viewing, an activation code will display and a member will have the opportunity to enroll in the program. The member can enroll up to 10 dependents (18 yrs. Of age or younger) per activation code. If more than 10 minor dependents are eligible to be enrolled, select “Enrolling more than 10 dependents?” to get additional codes per number of dependents on your plan.
  4. Once you have your activation code, click “Start Adult Enrollment” or “Start Minor Enrollment.” You will be directed to the Experian website to activate your membership.
  5. If you need to access your activation code again, BAM will display the same activation code for up to 12 months and include an expiration date.
