FSA’s are administered for the City of Bellevue by Navia Benefit Solutions www.naviabenefits.com or 425.452.3500. The company code for the City of Bellevue is CFB.
1. Health Care FSA allows you to set aside pretax money from your paycheck to pay for out-of-pocket health care costs for you and your dependents. The IRS determines which expenses are eligible for reimbursement. Go to the Navia site to view the list of Eligible Health Care Expenses.
2. Day Care FSA allows you to set aside pretax money from your paycheck to pay for out-of-pocket day care expenses for your dependent child or elder care expenses. Go to the Navia site to view the list of Eligible Dependent Care Expenses.
FSA’s do not continue automatically—you must re-enroll each year during Open Enrollment for the following year and cannot change or discontinue your contributions mid-year except as allowed within 30 days of qualifying life events (such as marriage, birth of a child).
FSA’s require that you use up the entire amount you contribute by March 15 of the following calendar year and have 90 days (until June 15) to submit for reimbursement. If you do not, you will lose the unspent money.
