Medical and prescription coverage is an important part of any benefit strategy. Like many employers, our District is working diligently to ensure our plans continue to provide affordable, convenient and comprehensive access to quality coverage. Through the Mentor Public Schools Health Plan, we choose Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO) for our healthcare and prescription drug benefits.
While MMO provides access to participating and non-participating providers, using a participating provider ensures you receive the highest levels of coverage. All plans have important provisions which we encourage you to review. Each plans' details can be evaluated by selecting one of the documents below. Introducing your personal care team. You have access to a dedicated Advocacy Team to help you better understand your healthcare plan. Our Advocates can help resolve any concerns you have with your healthcare coverage, such as benefits, available programs and services, out-of-pocket expenses, prior authorizations and claim questions. Mentor Public Schools provides dental coverage through MetLife to you and your family at minimal cost. Effective January 1, 2024, unmarried Child Dependents can stay on the dental plan until age 26.
