Minnesota Benefit Association
The MBA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing exclusive services, benefits, and scholarship programs to current or retired public employees and elected officials in the state of Minnesota.

Minnesota Benefit Association History

The Minnesota Benefit Association was formed in 1929 by Harold Holister to campaign for a state pension.
In 1931, the MBA sponsored legislation that established a retirement program for state employees. Building on this success, the MBA became the first designated organization to offer group life insurance to employees of the state. These benefits now seen as commonplace were unique and innovative types of financial protections.
Today, the Minnesota Benefit Association has grown to offer payroll deduction, scholarships, home and auto insurance, health insurance, and leadership training, along with a wide range of beneficial services for those that serve Minnesota.
